Y2K Issue when importing from Aerolog 3 DOS

QMy old AeroLog 3 for DOS has many entries after year 2000. When I import these into AeroLog Pro, they show as 1900's (e.g. 1900 instead of 2000). Is there an easy way to fix this?

   A

This can be corrected after import by running the "Y2KFix" Global Scan script (included) on your data. Here is the procedure...

  • Use the Backup button in the main window to create a current backup of your data.

  • Open the Pilot Logbook window, pull down the Calc menu and select Global Scan Utility... A warning dialog will be displayed. Read the warning and then click OK to proceed.

  • In the Global Scan dialog, click Edit Script

  • In the script editor window, click the import script button . Locate and open the "Y2KFix.asf" file.

  • Close the script editor window. The script should be displayed in the Global Scan dialog box.

  • Click Run Scan. Two warning boxes will be displayed. If you didn't do the backup (step 1, above), cancel, run the backup and then repeat the above.
